Learning How to Post Edit Photos

I have been reading and learning on how to use the Digital Darkroom. That is, do a little post editing to get the shot we meant to get. In doing so I have gone back though some of my older photographs to practice on. The photo to the left is an example where I thought the photo was a pretty good shot. Nothing special, just a quick shot of Linda walking back from getting us a couple drinks. Now I have learned to adjust the curves and control the sharpness a bit. You can see the difference in the photo on the right. The colors are much more crisp, the way we remember them. It is pretty easy to overdue this. Using the curves you have more control than using the saturation levels. Anyway, thought it was kind of amazing what can be done and thought I would share this.

Your page looks so nice! I could REALLY use your help making mine "fancy". I try and it turns out looking silly, so any help you can offer would be awesome!

Can't wait to hear what you guys are having. Hope you enjoyed your shower today!
