One week old

We survived the first week! Some more visitors today. Savannah got to meet her Great Grandma Wehmeyer and our friend Mary Kate from Baltimore. A friend from Linda's work also stopped to admire little Savannah. Otherwise a pretty typical day. I went to Bass Pro and to pick up our announcements. Got a kick ass new rod and reel with a hell of a discount. They start their spring fishing sale this week and as a preferred member, we get an extra 10% off. Getting back to my little girl. Someone asked me how it felt to be a dad. The person asking was also a father, so my answer was that they know how it is, and you can't explain it without becoming a dad. I understand that I've only been a dad for a week, but wow, what a week. I would do anything in the world for this little bit of joy that has entered our life. I can't wait to see what the rest of her/our life brings. I am as proud as can be, and she hasn't even done anything yet (besides being born and, well, being completly adorable).
