Baptisim

Wow, what a weekend. Savannah was baptized on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Linda worked hard all week in preparing for the celebration. She made 3 roasts, sides and deserts. She also took care of coordinating all of the activities with the church. They made us jump through a few hoops at the last minute, but all went well. A word from the wise, don’t schedule a baptism on the first Sunday after Lent. There were 10 babies being baptized so it was a little chaotic. All-in-all, Deacon Tom did a good job keeping things moving and getting through the ceremony quickly. After church we all went back to our house to begin the celebration. Linda had a feast waiting for us, so after a few pictures with her Godparents, Allan and Denise, we filled our bellies. After dinner Erin and Emily got to hold Savannah for a couple of pictures. Erin was a natural holding Miss Savannah. It must be all the practice she gets holding her baby dolls. Savannah is a very lucky girl to have all these people that love her so much.

Love the pictures. Had a great time and enjoyed the day with everyone. Love, Grandma D. Don't forget to put photos on Snapfish for me to order.
