Grandma and Grandpa Huster came by the house sometime before Easter for some reason that I don’t recall. Savannah and Grandpa were entertaining each other by sticking their tongues out at each other. I’m not sure who was entertaining who. They were both laughing and neither would

stop. It was pretty darn funny. Before the record rain started we did have a few nice days where we got to spend some time outside. Linda and I got Savannah a little plastic slide for Easter so while we had the nice weather Savannah tried her new slide out. Of course I grabbed the camera because that’s what I do. Turns out we ended up with some really great shots. The black and white shot of her looking down was total luck, but one of my favorites to date. I say it was a luck shot because she was walking at me on grass. When she walks on grass she looks down. I

happen to crop around her face and flip it to black and white and voila, perfection! She did enjoy playing on her slide, although she could not figure out to sit down to slide down the slide. She just tried to walk down the slide or go down head first. Either way, she was having a great time. Easter was a lot of fun. Granted, I had to work the

Saturday before Easter and missed the big Easter Egg hunt at Great Grandma Huster’s house, Savannah had a great time hunting Eater Eggs. Linda said that she knew just what to do. She grabbed her basket and went to town, grabbing egg after egg. Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Huster’s house for dinner. I got

off work just in time to sit down and eat dinner with everyone. On Easter Sunday, Savannah enjoyed church. She enjoyed talking during the sermon, throwing her puppy in the pew in front of us and trying to climb on the kneeler. Truthfully, she was pretty good. When we got back home she got to hunt Easter Eggs again since the Easter Bunny

came to the house while we were at church. Luckily Chip was asleep; otherwise we may have come home to a real mess.

Cameron that black & white picture of Savannah is priceless. Maybe you should become a professional photographer.
