After battling the complications from several surgeries associated with colon cancer, my mom was overwhelmed with infection and passed away yesterday morning. It was a long 6 weeks going back and forth with doctors, in and out of the hospital and three surgerys to correct problems. In the end she was trying to fight off three life threatening infections but her weakend body just couldn't handle any more. Linda and I were at the hospital with all of her nieces and nephews when she did pass. We will all miss her and remember all the great times we had together. We have arrangements scheduled for Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 5:00 - 9:00 at the Baue Funeral Home at Cave Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Charles Humane Society, 1099 Pralle Lane, St. Charles, MO 63303. Mom always loved her animals and this is what she asked that we do.Her Obituary on Baue's website
