Summer fun at its best right here in the Denison's backyard! We have been talking about a swing set for a while now and since life has slowed down just a little we were able to get things started. Well, when I say we, I really mean Cameron getting it all ready to go! He ordered all the stuff, got some pointers from Tom, the stuff was delivered, the lumber bought and it was go time! I
had to forfeit the parking in garage for a while, but that's okay, at least there was no bad weather! Cameron, Allan, Matt and Grandpa worked their tails off getting it all ready for big girl. Of course by the time we wanted to build it, St. Louis summer had hit and it was some fabulous hot and humid weather! During the preconstruction, Savannah was quite the little supervisor and
even got her shovel to help level the ground. We just need to remember to make her wear shoes from now on when walking on boards....long story and no need to post all the gory details on here! From there, the experts worked to get the fort built and slide put in place. Savannah was SO excited and went up and down that slide countless times. From there it seemed like no time
had passed and the swings were up and she has not stopped wanting to swing since that day. Sadly we have yet to get the camera out while she has been swinging to take some picks, but she is sure one happy camper. Now we just need to find a few more people to come over to push her on those swings! So here we are, with summer in full force, Savannah is one happy girl and has
even had her cousins over to enjoy the playground masterpiece with her. We are very much looking forward to a great holiday weekend with friends and family and I have to say I am enjoying updating this thing on a more regular basis!
