Savannah Comes Home

Another traumatic day for little Savannah. She was given the all clear from her doctor first thing this morning. Then she had a big breakfast and her mom was given the OK to come home. She got to change into some normal clothes and get her picture taken by someone other than her dad. While we waited for paperwork she got to tour the floor and meet and greet the people in the lobby. Then it was time to head home. All was good in her little world until she had to be strapped into that funny seat. She did not like that at all. She let her mom and dad know that she didn’t like it all the way home. Once she arrived at her new house, she was greeted by Chipper dawg. He was very curious and gave her a big kiss. She didn’t seem to mind the kiss. Chip has been very good with her so far. He doesn’t ignore her, but doesn’t get in the way either. He watches and looks at her a lot. Always snuggled up to mom, he is glad she is home. There was some intensity around the house for about an hour, but then mom and dad got to eat and Savannah decided she would eat too. All is right with the world once again, and we are all happy to be home.
