Smile for Mommy

Not a whole lot new around here, except that Savannah found her smiles this week!! It was quite hard for mommy to get anything done with this gorgeous face smiling at her! This weekend was pretty laid back. We went to visit Jay, Jen and Cayden and hung out with them for a while. Then Savannah and daddy hung out while mommy snuck out for a few hours to say good-bye to Katie, who is moving to Arkansas for a new job. She had a going away party at Culpepper’s on Saturday night and this mommy enjoyed a night out with friends and of course showing off the pictures of Savannah. Sunday was spent with a trip to Target, of course, and then a log nap for Savannah while mommy and daddy worked in the yard. Savannah loved being at Target so much that she was an angel till the time of checkout, when she let mommy know that she wasn’t ready to leave by screaming her little head off! All was well again once back in the car when mom assured her that they would be going back again soon. Today, Monday, was a great day, full of smiles for both Savannah and mommy. Maternity leave is half over and it will be so hard to return to work having such great days like today!!
