Well, it’s been a while since the last update. Once again, we have no excuses for why we don’t update this more, life just takes up more time than we realize! Or maybe a better excuse would be to say we are STILL recovering from the Buffett concert! Regardless, Savannah has been the busy little girl as always. It really does amaze us everyday how much she learns and grows and how much she makes us laugh. One of her favorite things is to play outside and she sure keeps
herself very busy! The slide is always a hit, but really for her it is more exciting to play in the rocks and pull the grass. Last weekend we spent our time celebrating Mother’s Day. Saturday we had dinner at Tom and Amy’s with mom and dad and the grandmas. Savannah got to meet Miss Claire, but seemed to have more fun with Will and Jack. Just give it a few months and Savannah
will be teaching Claire all kinds of tricks, if there are any tricks that her brothers have not already taught her. Then Sunday we went to church and took some very nice naps, both mommy and Savannah that is. And Miss Savannah and Daddy surprised mommy with a day at the spa in addition to the rest of the day to myself!!! It was quite a gift and I can’t wait to cash that one in! This weekend we are going to enjoy the much needed nice weather and maybe take Savannah
on her first of many trips to Lyon’s Frozen Custard, the best summer treat in the state! Then on Sunday, Savannah will get to go to the Parish Picnic and ride a few rides and enjoy the very talented German band prior to having a chicken dinner. Should prove to be a big day and Savannah is excited to eat the chicken dinner, as she hears that the stuffing is the BEST in town!
