Wow, can’t believe it’s been a month and a half since our last update! Where to begin? Well, Savannah stays quite busy day-to-day and is learning new things everyday! We call her our little parrot, as she repeats EVERYTHING and honestly has a memory like a steel trap! For instance, this past weekend we were celebrating Jack’s birthday at Tom and Amy’s and Savannah headed straight for the sandbox and she said “river”? Really kid,

you haven’t been on the boat in two months and you are now associating sand with the river? WOW!!! So I am done bragging on my kid and will bring us all up to date. Savannah loves to help me cook, so she just had to help me make pumpkin bread. On one of mommy’s days off we went to the park to enjoy the great weather. Savannah had a ball of course and loves more than anything to be outside. We are certainly not looking forward to cold weather that’s for sure! We’ve

been out of touch so much lately due to an expected stay at the hospital for Cameron’s mom. She was there for the better part of three weeks and is thankfully home now and getting better everyday. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers through it all, we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. Sadly it takes times like these to really realize that! Although life is still up in the air for us, we are trudging along

day by day. In the midst of Grandma Denison’s hospital stay, we were fortunate enough to take Savannah to the ER at 1 AM for a double ear infection!! Thankfully she is better and mommy and daddy are still trying to catch up on the sleep! In the past weeks Savannah has enjoyed going to the Octoberfest parade in St. Charles and LOVED catching all the candy and beads. She has helped mommy do some shopping for fall

clothes and let me tell you, if you want to spend a lot of money and build up the self esteem, take her shopping. She told me everything I tried on was “pretty mommy”, so of course I had to buy it! Thankfully she learned to keep secrets from daddy on the final bill! And now we are to today, and she learned the gentle art of playing her mommy and daddy. Daddy put her to bed and she started crying and asking for mommy. I went up there, rocked her for a bit and she was just fine! It truly amazes us how much that kid learns everyday!!! Oh and in the midst of it all, we want to end with a big CONGRATULATIONS to Matt and Theresa on welcoming their little boy to the world! Hopefully it won’t be so long till next time!
