It’s definitely fall for the Denison family! Savannah is in heaven with the warmer weather and being able to spend lots of time outside! We were able to sneak out for a while to enjoy the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin to carve. Savannah enjoyed playing on the hay stack and then heading to the patch to find the great pumpkin to carve up for the big day! She tried so hard to pick up the pumpkins to carry to the car, but she

needs to build a little more muscle before that happens! She was okay with letting mommy and daddy doing the lifting them into the car! A few days prior to Halloween, Savannah let Daddy know when he got home from work that it was time to carve the pumpkins. She was pretty curious about it all and a little hesitant to help mommy scoop out the insides, but had a great time regardless. She was definitely ready for the big day to get here that’s for sure. Life has been up and down for us as it has been for the last

month, so it’s nice to enjoy a little “normal” here and there. Cameron’s mom came home from the hospital and was able to spend some time at our house. Savannah loved showing off all her new tricks for Grandma. Our newest favorite is asking her what we think of Kansas and she holds her nose and says “stinky”. Nothing like a little more brainwashing for the world’s smallest Mizzou fan! We had tickets to yet another game and were

planning on going this past weekend, however, the little one decided that it wasn’t in the cards for mommy to return for Homecoming and got sick over the weekend. Nothing serious and she is doing fine, but it was enough for us to stay close to home for the evening. Thanks to Grandma Huster for watching Savannah so we could sneak out to watch the game at none other than Culpepper’s. We missed seeing the big win in person,

but that’s the way it goes! It was just nice to get out and enjoy a much needed and deserved date night! We are ready to see a nice big win in person over K-State on 11/8! So from here we are just taking things day by day, Savannah is learning to say Trick or Treat and will hopefully be ready to scour the neighborhood for some tasty treats on Halloween! Again, we will try not to take so long for the next update!
